The Avengers is a very strong movie, and in some respects something of a cinematic miracle, as five separate, loosely tied together comicbook films have managed to culminate in a picture featuring all of those lead characters, which is in no way, shape or form the train-wreck that it may have been. Despite these different movies being created by different creative teams, as well as The Avengers being helmed with a whole new director not used to the Marvel Movie Universe, there is an absolute sense of uniformity and coherence during each of those pictures, which is some thing to be valued.
No one has actually described how ruining some sort of leads to world domination, however then again, no one has actually were able to accomplish one of these ruin the globe first, ask for subservience schemes that were after. There is a risk, the team comes then they do, and together, they don't get along, then they fight the threat. You already know the result as you aren't a total idiot. The ending. Since so much of the source work and persona improvement was executed in previous pictures, you might think that would give The Avengers room to be actually out there and layered and fascinating ' instead it is all really a little dreary, as there is a lot of standing about and waiting, like the protracted series in the middle where the personalities are trying to find the movie macguffin, in this instance a space block called the tesseract providing you with limitless energy, and the characters banter back and forth somewhat, but finally nothing happens and no one increases. His dilemma is really not investigated at all, although Captain America, having been iced during the Second World War and thawed away 70 years after, gets lightly taunted about being a fish out a water. And it is not just a little glad to make him the target of a whole lot of jokes when he's likely still depressed about the fact that each single-person he knows and loves are all long-dead. Thor does a large amount of standing around and just waiting for instants to use his hammer, and Dr. Banner appears around trying not to Hulk out. Of course Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man is a motormouth and constantly entertaining, so he can pretty much remain around all he needs, he maintained to make it interesting no matter what. But however, that is plenty of standing around.
Therefore Black Widow can saves him, Hawkeye is in the picture, and Black Widow is in the movie therefore she is able to conserve Hawk Eye. How exciting. And while Thor is summoning lightning and thunder and smashing everything with his legendary hammer Mjolnir, and Tony Stark is soaring about in his million-buck weaponized Ironman match and raging individuals with pulsar beams, and Captain America is utilizing his superb serum derived skills to kick incredible levels of butt, and also the Hulk hulks out and smashes, Hawk-Eye is firing arrows at folks and Black Widow is good with knives and handguns. What on Earth do these two humans that are dull have to include to the very-powered super-heroes in this team? Nothing, that is what. Waste of time.

The guy horde that is bad is a random alien military with advancement or no personality, and the largest, craziest parts of the battle seem like imitations of the finest pieces of the Transformers films of Michael Bay.
In the pantheon of Marvel movies, The Avengers doesn't quite reach the rewatchable peaks of Iron Man, but it is certainly not worse than the unsatisfactory Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk. It is on precisely the same degree as Thor and Captain America, over passable as large budget, popcorn munching entertainment. It's humor, action, fun characters, plus it puts these things all together in a package that is sleek, prepared for mass consumption. Congratulations, Disney and Marvel. You pulled it away.
